As I have chosen a horror film, my group and I looked at all the conventions of horror. We are going to follow these conventions carefully in order to make a successful film trailer that relates to the genre. Looking at all eight main conventions on this diagram, our film plot includes death/blood, isolated settings, a villian, victims and chase sequences. Therefore when we put together the trailer we can include the scary music and screams to complete the conventions.
